TOPRA approved to join the Science Council

TOPRA is delighted to announce the approval of its application to become a member of the Science Council.

Executive Director, Lynda Wight explained; ‘Regulatory professionals need a solid grounding in science in order to perform their roles to a high standard and so contribute to improvements in public health. Acceptance into the Science Council underlines the scientific nature of regulatory work and also the professional standards that TOPRA members apply to that work, in terms of their continuing technical and personal skills development.

'TOPRA is proud to join with almost 40 other professional body members of the Science Council in underlining the important role these organisations play in promoting excellence and diversity in science.’
